The 2005
Symposium is set to take place in the next few weeks. We hope you'll
be able to join us for continued education, the opportunity to catch
up with old friends or make new ones.
Saturday offers
training on endangered species. Anyone may attend for
continuing education credit. If you attend the endangered species
training for certification, you must attend the whole training
session to receive credit. You may attend training now for credit if
you anticipate upgrading to general permit status in the future
(which is necessary to handle endangered/threatened species).
Sunday there is
training for rabies vector species.. The RVS training is designed to
provide volunteers, capture & transport personnel, and new
rehabilitators basic information, although all are welcomed to
attend. The classroom only seats 30 so the first 30 reservations will
be taken. The main session will be in the auditorium. PAWR meeting
will be at the conclusion of the Sunday session.
The Association
is again providing scholarships.
Permitted
rehabilitators are invited to apply by filling out the online
